Support for your growing family

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC (“Gentle Hands,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting, booking, or receiving services, the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Services
Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC provides professional family support services, which may include:
Overnight newborn care
Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) services
Daytime nannying
Postpartum and fourth-trimester support
Newborn sleep support and sleep training
Feeding support
Lactation support
Twin and multiple-baby care
Colic and newborn soothing support
Other newborn and family-support services agreed upon in writing
Services provided will depend on the Client’s individual needs, the ’NCS qualifications, and the services agreed upon before booking.
2. Booking and Reservation
A $500 booking fee is required to reserve and secure the Client’s requested dates.
Payment of the booking fee confirms the reservation of the provider’s availability for the agreed-upon dates.
The $500 booking fee is strictly non-refundable.
The booking fee is separate from hourly or service fees and does not apply toward service charges unless Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC specifically agrees otherwise in writing.
3. Service Rates and Payment
The Client agrees to pay the rate communicated and agreed upon at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Payment for services is due according to the payment schedule provided by Gentle Hands.
Additional services or hours may result in additional charges.
The Client is responsible for all agreed-upon service fees.
Any outstanding balance must be paid according to the agreed payment terms.
4. Scheduling and Minimum Booking Requirements
Services are provided according to the dates and hours confirmed at booking.
Minimum booking requirements may apply depending on the service, location, and availability.
Requests to change scheduled dates or hours are subject to the NCS availability and are not guaranteed.
5. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to provide a safe, respectful, and appropriate working environment.
The Client must provide accurate information regarding:
The baby’s due date, age and needs
Feeding requirements
Medical or developmental concerns
Allergies
Medications
Sleep arrangements
Household conditions that may affect care
Any other information reasonably necessary to provide safe services
Failure to disclose important information may affect the NCS ability to safely perform services.
6. Safe Sleep
Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC follows safe-sleep practices for Newborn and infants.
The NCS will not intentionally place a baby in an unsafe sleeping environment or engage in practices that reasonably conflict with established infant safe-sleep recommendations.
7. Medical Care
Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC provides non-medical newborn and family support services.
Our Newborn Care Specialist are not acting as physicians, nurses, or other medical professionals unless separately licensed and specifically providing services within the scope of that license.
We do not diagnose medical conditions or provide medical treatment.
If a newborn or family member experiences an emergency or concerning medical symptoms, the provider may contact emergency medical services and/or the parents as appropriate.
8. Illness and Health Requirements
For the protection of newborns, families, and our NCS, Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC maintains health and hygiene requirements for its providers.
The NCS may be required to follow company vaccination, illness-prevention, hygiene, and infection-control policies.
Clients should promptly notify the NCCS if a member of the household has a contagious illness or has been exposed to a contagious illness.
Depending on the circumstances, services may need to be modified, postponed, or canceled to protect the newborn, family, and the Newborn Care Specialist.
9. Provider Qualifications
Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC assign qualified newborn care professionals based on availability and the needs of the family.
Our NCS may have qualifications including newborn care training, CPR certification, background screening, and other credentials applicable to their role.
Specific credentials may vary by provider.

10. Provider Responsibility and Liability

NCS Responsibility: Each Newborn Care Specialist is a private contractor and is responsible for their own actions and conduct while providing services. If an injury or other harm results from an NCS’s negligent, reckless, intentional, or improper conduct, the NCS may be personally responsible to the extent permitted by applicable law. Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC and its owner do not assume personal responsibility for an NCS’s independent acts solely because the NCS provides services through or is affiliated with Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC.

11. Privacy and Confidentiality
Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC respects the privacy of its clients and families.
Information obtained through the provision of services will be treated confidentially except when disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect a child or person from serious harm, or otherwise permitted by the Client.
Clients also agree not to share private information about providers without their consent, except where disclosure is required by law.
12. Photography and Recording
Clients may not photograph, record, livestream, or otherwise publish images or recordings of a provider without the provider’s permission.
Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC will not use identifiable photographs or recordings of clients or children for marketing purposes without appropriate permission.
13. Respectful Workplace
Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC is committed to work in a professional and respectful environment.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, intimidation, inappropriate behavior, or unsafe conduct toward a provider will not be tolerated.
Gentle Hands reserves the right to discontinue services when necessary to protect the safety and well-being of its providers.
14. Cancellation and Refunds
The $500 booking fee is strictly non-refundable.
Additional cancellation or refund terms, if applicable, are outlined in the Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC Refund Policy.
15. Service Termination
Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC may terminate services if:
Payments are not made as agreed
The working environment becomes unsafe
The Client engages in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct
The Client materially violates these Terms & Conditions
Information necessary for safe care has been intentionally withheld
Continued service is otherwise not reasonably possible
Any unpaid fees for services already provided remain due.
16. Transportation and Travel
If transportation or travel is specifically requested and agreed upon, additional fees may apply.
Travel arrangements and associated costs will be communicated to the Client before the service is provided whenever reasonably possible.
17. No Guarantee of Specific Results
While Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC provides professional guidance and support, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes regarding:
Infant sleep
Feeding
Colic
Soothing
Sleep training
Breastfeeding or lactation
Baby’s schedule or behavior
Every baby and family is different, and results can vary.
18. Changes to Services
Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC reserves the right to update service offerings, pricing, policies, and availability.
Changes will not alter the terms of an already-confirmed booking unless otherwise agreed upon by the Client.
19. Website Use
Information provided on the Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC website is for general informational purposes and does not constitute medical advice.
Clients should consult an appropriate healthcare professional regarding medical questions or concerns involving themselves or their children.
20. Agreement to Terms
By submitting a booking request, paying a booking fee, scheduling services, or accepting services from Gentle Hands Baby Services LLC, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
If the Client does not agree with these Terms & Conditions, they should not book or use the services.
